"While I always appreciated my mother’s ability to feed me and my brothers with three square meals each day, it was my father who became the gourmet cook in the family.

Every holiday, he would curate a meal that would amaze family and friends with his creativity and skill. In addition to the traditional “turkey and sides” dinners, his grandchildren always requested “Grandpa’s beef stew” (Beef Bourguignon) and his “fish sticks” (Sole Meuniere) with enthusiasm. Not only was the food great, but the time together in the kitchen and at the table fostered strong, enduring relationships between us all.

Now, during the holidays, my children, husband and I spend time together in the same way, hanging out in the kitchen while we cook, talk, and share,  enjoying each other’s company before, during and after the meal.  We also are very efficient loading and unloading the dishwasher multiple times each day!"
